The title &lsquo;Leaving the Shadows&lsquo; is fitting for two reasons: it alludes to both the form - the concentration on twilight moods and the content - a description of the living situation of the Afghan population.<br /><br />The photographs of the reporter, who was born in Santiago de Chile in 1975, show peaceful and joyful moments of a gradually emerging normality rather than the violence and poverty one might expect. In comparison, the ruins, war damage or remains of ammunition in some of the pictures seem to be of minor importance, although they form a strong contrast that is not only visual. In failing daylight or the semi-darkness of the interiors, light and shade fight for predominance and give the colors in the photos a special intensity. Both contrasts of the interplay of light and shade - metaphorical and actual - make the photos a particularly accurate description of the relationship of man and his environment, which is the subject of the competition held by the Leica Camera Group as part of its culture program. The report is a result of Munita's long-term work as a press photographer for The Associated Press news agency in Afghanistan.<br /><br />An honorable mention in the Leica Oskar Barnack Award 2006 went to the American James Whitlow Delano. <div>Elliott Erwitt 英文简历：<br /><br /><br />1928: Born July 26 in Paris of Russian Parents from Moscow and Odessa. <br />1928-38: Brought up in Milan, Italy. <br />1938-39: He is in Paris. <br />1939: Worried by the onrush of fascism, his parents move to New York. <br />1942-44: Studies at the Hollywood High School. Fascinated by photography. <br />1944: First photographs, produces many prints of personalities and also makes passport photos. <br />1945-47: Studies at Los Angeles College. <br />1947: Becomes an American Citizen. <br />1947-48: Works in a drugstore and assists in a film-developing lab, Los Angeles. <br />1948-49: Studies filming at the New School for Social Research, New York. <br />1949: Cameraman in France. Sets up a studio in Paris. <br />1950: New York: meets Steichen, Robert Capa. <div>我们每个人都多少有些业余爱好，爱好摄影使我们来到这个网站。在我们周围有很多优秀的业余摄影师，所谓&ldquo;业余摄影师&rdquo;是指他们不靠摄影吃饭，而是在从事自己的专业的同时爱好摄影这门艺术。。。。<br /><br />有人曾和我谈起过这位和德国诗人Friedrich Schiller 同名，同性的 奥地利业余 &quot; Street Photography specialist &ldquo;&nbsp;&nbsp;, 我也曾经看过他的那种简单而很有内涵的作品，尤其是他以主题&ldquo;都市里的人&rdquo;的作品非常有影响。&nbsp;&nbsp;他用的设备很简单，M 机身，21mm, 40mm，是他随身设备，特殊情况用一台很旧的 Rolleiflex 6X6。他说：&ldquo;我只是位摄影爱好者，这样的设备已经很好了。要想拍出你满意的底片来，重要的是相机后面的人！<br /><br />Friedlrch Schiller 有很敏锐的观察力，看到的同时，他相机里的底片也暴光了。他几乎永远是用目测光，测距。<br /><br />

After a brake from photography &ndash; I was more into CGI back then &ndash; a Yashica Electro 35 GTN crossed my path and I was in awe, mostly because of the high speed lens and the rangefinder. Since the only Camera I owned previously had a simple viewfinder, I was more comfortable with a rangefinder than SLR?s and the Bessa-R convinced me of that. After reading a lot about rangefinders on the net I finally made the decision to look out for a Leica M as those were said to be the toughest and best build of them all. As soon as I held my first M I was in love, the Leica is a simple, reinforced and precise machine and ever since I got my M6 it is going everywhere with me.<br /><br /><b>Why is people photography your main interest?</b><br /><br />My first contact with the genre was just 2 years ago and I still stumble over new photographers and styles which all are very inspiring to me. For me, the most interesting part of doing this style of shooting is, that you never know what you will get in front of your lens. This unpredictability is what keeps the tension high and my interest in street photography burning, it fascinates me to photograph people in every day scenes and to capture interesting emotions, faces or compositions of light.<br /><br /><b>If your pictures become famous, would you rather stay an amateur or would you become a pro photographer?</b><br /><br />My motivation and joy in&nbsp;&nbsp;photography depends on my absolute freedom to do what I want and how I want to. I really can not imagine to photograph for someone else but myself and think I would be happier to stay amateur. Since I learned everything by trial and error I feel I still have a long way to go to perfect my craft and to learn all the possibilities the medium film and photography as a whole provide.<br /><br /><b>Do you struggle between digital and analogue photography?</b><br /><br />No, I enjoy film and the whole process connected to it much more than digital photography. <div>2007-11-15 09:17</div></div>毕加索 ：&ldquo; 用照相机写诗 的人。。。。&rdquo;<br /><br />昨天终于用了近几个小时的时间欣赏了久闻大名的法国摄影师 Lucien Clergue 在维也纳作品展！（门票11欧元，狗（满3个月 免票！<img alt="" src="http://www.leica.org.cn/bbs/images/smilies/lol.gif" border="0" /> ）结果是 ：我还要找时间去几趟。。。<br /><br />为方便大家欣赏，收藏，特将两张著名的作品上了比较大的图！ 希望大家满意！！！<br /><br />。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。。<br />LUCIEN CLERQUE <br /><br />From the age of 7, Lucien Clergue learnt to play the violin. Several years later, his teacher revealed to him that he had nothing more to teach him. From a family of modest shopkeepers, he could not pursue further studies in Conservatory. In 1949, he learns the rudiments of photography. Four years later, at a corrida in Arles, he forces destiny by showing his photos to Pablo Picasso, who is subdued and demands to see others. During one and a half year, young Clergue works with the goal of sending photos to Picasso. It&rsquo;s during this period that he works on his series of photographs of traveling entertainers,&nbsp;&nbsp;acrobats and arlequins, the 《 Saltimbanques 》. He also works in parallel on a series whose subject is carrion.<br />The 4th of November 1955, Lucien Clergue goes to Picasso&rsquo;s in&nbsp;&nbsp;Cannes who receives him with open arms. Their friendship will last near thirty years, up to the death of the Master. The book, &ldquo;Picasso my friend&rdquo; retraces the important moments of their relation.<br />Clergue has taken many photographs of the gypsies of souther France, and was instrumental in propelling the guitarist&nbsp;&nbsp;Manitas de Plata to fame.<br />In 1968 he founded, along with his friend Michel Tournier the Rencontres d?Arles&nbsp;&nbsp;photography festival which is held in Arles&nbsp;&nbsp;in July.<br />Clergue has illustrated books, among these a book by writer Yves Navarre.<br />In 2007, the city of Arles honored Lucien Clergue and dedicates a retrospective collection of 360 of his photographs dating from 1953 to 2007. He also received the 2007 Lucie Award .<br />He is named knight of the L&eacute;gion d?honneur in 2003 and elected member of the Academy of Fine Arts of the Institute of Franc on the 31 May,&nbsp;&nbsp;2006 , on the creation of a new section consecrated to photography. <div>Jose Cendon是一名来自西班牙西北部的（Santiago de Compostela）摄影师，作为一名专职摄影师，他已经在非洲工作多年。此次获得Oskar Banack 2007提名的作品《非洲的疯人院》拍摄自三个非洲国家&mdash;&mdash;Ruanda（卢旺达）、Burundi（布隆迪）以及Congo（刚果）的多家精神病院。<br /><br />这名32岁的摄影师在拍摄中对精神、色彩、距离的处理十分娴熟，以深刻得让人痛心的画面反映了非洲多年内战对人们心灵的巨大伤害。<br /><br />这是一组，你很少见到的拍摄作品。<br /><br />不知道你是否有胆量直视他们的眼睛。<br /><br />你能读到其中的痛苦么？抑或仅仅是不安？</div>

<p><font face="楷体_GB2312" color="#ffffff" size="3">1来自世界各地的摄影师向全体玛格南成员提交一组作品，在年会上，所有会员投票，只有半数会员赞同，申请者才可成为候选者。注意，每五年最多只有四人能成为候选者。2候选者必须用两年时间向图片社提交更有力量的作品，在年会上，如果2/3以上会员投票通过，候选者可以进一步成为准会员。准会员要受图片社制度的限制，但可以接受拍摄任务，可以利用图片社的关系网工作。准会员和正式会员的惟一差别是，他不是图片社的董事，因此在年会上也没有投票权。<br />3再过两年，只有那些在影像上真正具有独特创造力的准会员才可能被全体会员接受，成为这个精英组织的正式会员。一旦成为正式会员，则可以享受终生荣誉 </font></p>]]></description>
